Chief is a former US Marshall who has fallen on hard times after he led his under cover agents in a raid that went horribly wrong. Currently suffering from extreme anxiety attacks, divorced and staying temporarily at his successful brothers home, Chief literally runs into Grace; a beautiful, free- spirited, self proclaimed, tantric healer, and erotic filmmaker. In spite of their differences, Grace finds a kindred spirit in Chief who she believes is in need of spiritual enlightenment.

When Chief’s former right hand man Jonesie the most lethal and dedicated member of his team shows up things start to go sideways. Jonesie paranoid and on the run explains that the raid they went on was a set-up and that they are all suffering from the same symptoms which ultimately end in death.

Chief agrees to solicit the help of his best friend and former attorney Richard. Things go from bad to worse when Jonesie accuses Richard of being in on the conspiracy against them. He sets off a series of explosions and steals Richard’s federal ID. Soon the rest of the ex US Marshalls show up crazed, armed to the teeth, and extremely dangerous. Somehow Chief convinces them to disarm and stow their weapons temporarily in his care until he can find out what’s going on. In the meantime the unsuspecting Grace invites Chief to a weekend retreat in the woods to clear his head. When Jonesie realizes that Chief has taken off with Grace and the ordnance he goes ballistic and pursues them as only a trained killer off his meds can.

However things are not what they seem, Chief and Grace find that they are involved in a deadly plot that even Jonesie couldn’t have imagined. In the end with Grace’s support Chief manages to out wit the villains, save lives and become a media sensation. Embraced by both the left and the right as the poster boy for “gun-sense” Chief finds himself thrust into the spotlight where he ironically finally gets the recognition he craved.
