  1. Well, the movie did come to an end, complete with a black screen. Then the credits start appearing and Sparkle performs a complete second song (along with reaction shots from various characters in the audience) while the credits roll on the side of the screen. She sings over most of the credits – I think the number ran for three minutes or so. This extra scene doesn’t necessarily add anything to the story, but the performance was excellent.
