Lusting for a glamorous life like she’s seen in the movies, Pearl finds her ambitions, temptations, and repressions all colliding in this origin story of X’s iconic villain.

We see static on a the screen in 4:3 screen aspect ratio. A VHS tape loads and we see the word “Play” on and the screen. We then see Hollywood Hills in Los Angeles 1985 and as it pans around to the Hollywood sign, it says “Maxxine” instead. Then we see the words “Maxxine: coming soon”. (Note: This appears to have only been shown in theaters and is not shown on streaming or disc options.)
