There is a split in the multiverse and Adrian Toomes (from Spider-Man: Homecoming) suddenly appears in the Manhattan detention center. A news report says he’ll probably be released immediately.
Morbius drives out into the middle of a desert. He stops and waits while something flies toward him. It’s Toomes in his Vulture gear, and he thanks Morbius for meeting him. He says that guys like Morbius and him should team up. Morbius responds that it’s an interesting idea.

Jack Cunningham (Ben Affleck) once had a life filled with promise. Now years later, Jack is spiraling down, triggered by an unspeakable loss, costing him his marriage and any hope for a better life.
