The last scene ends with a somersaulting pan shot starting with Nikki sobbing on the couch, panning down on the floor to Bear’s body laying on the carpet, and continues until we’re looking at the upside-down image of the television on the other side of the room. The start of the credits start appearing on the upside-down television screen, all while we’re still hearing Nikki wailing in the background.
