Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like she’s not alone.

Riley’s back at home with her parents after hockey camp. Her mom asks how it went. Riley’s emotions discuss how to answer when Ennui takes control and answers in a nonchalant fashion: “It was good.” We then zoom into Mom’s emotions and see her Anger gets frustrated and exclaims “She goes away for three days and all we get is ‘good?!’” Then mom’s Anxiety asks about the red streak in her hair and worries that she joined a gang. Then we zoom into Dad’s emotions and see his Anxiety asks “She goes away for three days and all we get is ‘Good?!’” The other emotions pause for a second and say yeah, that’s about right. Then they go back to watching a game.

Joy goes back to the secret vault and lets Deep Dark Secret out. She convinces it to reveal the secret and it says she burned a hole in the rug. Joy is surprised because she thought it was the time she peed in the pool. Deep Dark Secret gets scared and retreats back into the vault and closes the door.

We then see them at the prom, where the video zooms out to reveal it’s a surveillance camera tracking the turtles. Cynthia Utrom is watching them and scheming how to capture them. She issues the command: “Bring me… The Shredder.”, ending with an over-the-shoulder shot of Shredder on a NYC rooftop, looking upon the city.
