Kid is hitchhiking to New York City and gets picked up by a pickup truck with sheep in the back. He tosses his bag in the back and starts to get in the cab, but then grabs his bag from the sheep and gets in. Eddie and Daveed arrive at Eddie’s home and gives the little dog to Eddie’s son. We hear a crunching noise and Eddie asks, “what’s she chewing on?”. Daveed replies “I think it’s my fingers. It’s okay I don’t think they were going to reattach them anyways.”.

Set on a stretch of highway just outside the imagined utopia of Disney World, The Florida Project follows six-year-old Moonee (Brooklynn Prince in a stunning breakout turn) and her rebellious mother Halley (Bria Vinaite, another major discovery) over the course of a single summer. The two live week to week at “The Magic Castle,” a budget motel managed by Bobby (a career-best Willem Dafoe), whose stern exterior hides a deep reservoir of kindness and compassion.
