What did you think of this film?
Inspired by true events that chronicles the rise of Terrence “Tee” Jackson, a charismatic entrepreneur who transforms a neighborhood operation into a multi-million-dollar cannabis empire. As legalization reshapes the landscape and opportunities multiply, Tee finds himself navigating a dangerous intersection of ambition, loyalty, politics, and power.
What begins as a quest for financial freedom evolves into a battle for survival as rivals emerge, alliances shift, and the weight of leadership threatens everything he has built. From the streets of Philadelphia to the boardrooms of a rapidly expanding industry, Tee must confront betrayal, family obligations, law enforcement pressure, and the personal cost of success.
Set against the backdrop of America’s evolving relationship with cannabis, King of Cannabis explores the fine line between visionary and outlaw, asking how much a person is willing to sacrifice to build a legacy. As fortunes rise and loyalties are tested, Tee discovers that creating an empire is one thing, holding onto it is another.
