Trudy (Daisy Ridley) is an accomplished swimmer who was born to immigrant parents in New York City in 1905. Through the steadfast support of her older sister and supportive trainers, she overcame adversity and the animosity of a patriarchal society to rise through the ranks of the Olympic swimming team and complete the staggering achievement – a 21-mile trek from France to England.

After the Aether is back in the hands of Asgard, Sif and Volstagg bring the item to the intergalactic museum of none other than The Collector (Benicio del Toro). When The Collector asks them why they brought it to him and didn’t keep it in Asgard, they explain that the Tesseract is already on Asgard and they should not have two Infinity Stones so close together. After Sif and Volstagg leave The Collector utters the phrase “One down, five to go” (referring to the Infinity Gauntlet).

We see Jane Foster sitting at the kitchen table when Thor returns to Earth. She runs into his arms and they share a passionate kiss. We then see the Frost Giant from Jotunheim who had previously passed through an interdimensional passage during the Convergence chasing after a flock of birds. We also see the phrase “Thor will return” at the very end of the credits.
