Episode S8E13 “Resolutions (2) ”: There is a brief shot of Magnum and his young daughter, on a beach, walking hand in hand away from the camera. It’s on that shot that the camera cuts back, to reveal a figure watching the scene on TV. As the Universal Logo comes up the figure gets up and switches the TV off. The camera pans up to show that the figure is Magnum, in naval uniform. Turning to the camera, he simply says “Good night”, raises a remote control, points it at the camera and as he clicks it the screen goes black.
