during the credits
During the credits roll, we see pictures not in the movie, interspersed between the credits. They are:

  • The Whooping Snake
  • The whooping snake about to pounce on the mouse
  • The Whooping Snake and something round in the middle of it
  • Mr. Burnish, the mouse, and the Whooping Snake (with what we now know is a pork bun in the middle of him, which is still there) at the dinner table eating Pork Buns
  • Yi, Peng, and Jin looking through the adventure kit that Mr. Burnish sent them
  • Yi, Peng, and Jin on the roof looking at clouds (one looks like the cloud fish they rode on)
  • Everest and his Parents on the mountain looking at the clouds (one looks like cloud fish)
  • Everest teaching other young Yetis how to play Rock, Paper, Scissors
  • Everest playing Thumb War with one of his parents
  • Everest and his Parents Hug with Everest in the middle. The Parents’ shape look like a heart.
  • Shows the Leshan Giant Buddha (Buddha Mountain) and then picture scrolls down to show the backs of Yi, Yi’s Mom, and Nai Nai there hugging (like the family trip Yi’s Dad wanted)

What did you think of this film?
For the Tibetan Mastiffs living on Snow Mountain, a dog’s life has a simple riff: Guard a peaceful village of wool-making sheep from the thuggish wolf Linnux (Lewis Black) and his rabid pack. To avoid distractions, Mastiff leader Khampa (J.K. Simmons) forbids all music from the mountain. But when Khampa’s son Bodi (Luke Wilson) discovers a radio dropped by a passing airplane, it takes just a few guitar licks for his fate to be sealed: Bodi wants to be a rock ‘n’ roll star. Yet that means defying his father’s wishes, heading to the city, and locating the legendary – and reclusive – musician Angus Scattergood (Eddie Izzard), who needs to write a new song and fast.
If Bodi can put a band together, help Angus with his song, and defeat the wolves’ plot to take Snow Mountain, his life will be in tune. Bodi will become what he’s always dreamed of being: More than a dog … more than a Rock God… he’ll be a ROCK DOG!
