Peter Venkman and Dana Barrett (Bill Murray and Sigourney Weaver) are performing the psychic card test that Venkman did in the original movie, but this time Barrett is testing Venkman. He guesses the cards correctly, and after a few electric shocks confesses that the cards are marked.

We see a short clip from the original film where Janine (Annie Potts) gives Egon (Harold Ramis) her lucky coin before the climactic battle. Egon says that he might not make it and woulnd’t she need it? Janine replies saying that she has another one. The scene continues in the present with Janine holding onto the coin while talking with Winston (Ernie Hudson) about his career after the Ghostbusters business slowed to a crawl. He’s a very successful businessman now, but he states that he’ll always be a Ghostbuster. The scene continues in the old firehouse that serves as the Ghostbusters headquarters, with Winston opening the garage door and guiding in the beat-up Ecto-1 car. The scene ends with a shot of the blinking energy button on the panel of the ghost containment system. Then a new Ghostbusters logo appears with a Stay-Puft marshmallow figure in the no-ghost sign.
