The greater the spy, the bigger the lie.

Elly Conway (Bryce Dallas Howard), the reclusive author of a series of best-selling espionage novels, whose idea of bliss is a night at home with her computer and her cat, Alfie. But when the plots of Elly’s fictional books—which center on secret agent Argylle and his mission to unravel a global spy syndicate—begin to mirror the covert actions of a real-life spy organization, quiet evenings at home become a thing of the past.

Are There Any Extras During The Credits? Yes

during the credits
The scene is set 20 years earlier, and it’s at the King’s Man restaurant. A young guy stands at the bar and orders a Cosmopolitan with a twist. The bartender says it doesn’t look like they’re in a club or a pub. The young guy says hold the vodka, the Cointreau, and the cranberry juice; just the twist. The bartender nods and gives the young guy a box containing a pistol and a silencer. The bartender asks the young guy’s name, and he responds “Aubrey Argylle.” The scene fades to the cover of the first Argylle book, and then the words “Book One The Movie – Coming Soon” appears.
