5,300 years ago in the Neolithic Age. An extended family lives peacefully by a stream in the Ötztal Alps. Their leader Kelab is responsible for keeping the holy shrine. While Kelab is on the hunt, his settlement is attacked and the entire clan is murdered, including Kelab’s wife and his son. Even the sanctuary of the community is robbed. Driven by pain and anger, Kelab has only one goal – retribution!
Kelab follows the trail of the culprits. On his odyssey through the mountains he is exposed to the dangers of nature. A tragic mistake turns him into a hunted man himself. After all, Kelab faces not only the murderers of his family, but also himself. Will he give in to his urge for revenge and even the perpetrator? Or does he succeed in breaking through the eternal cycle of violence?
