Paddington returns to Peru to visit his beloved Aunt Lucy, who now resides at the Home for Retired Bears. With the Brown Family in tow, a thrilling adventure ensues when a mystery plunges them into an unexpected journey through the Amazon rainforest and up to the mountain peaks of Peru.

We see Paddington and the El Dorado Bears touring London. Then Paddington shows some of them the pleasures of using an electric toothbrush in their ears, nostrils, and mouth. That’s followed by Paddington introducing the bears to Phoenix Buchanan. Phoenix is still in prison but is scheduled for release soon, and he asks if the bears like to perform. He envisions a new production starring himself as Goldilocks along with the bears. Phoenix says they’ll need funding and asks if they found gold in El Dorado. Paddington says “we found these” and holds up an orange. Buchanan says “Oranges? Disappointing”. The bears also take a picture in front of the El Dorado chicken restaurant.

When Shaun decides to take the day off and have some fun, he gets a little more action than he bargained for. A mix up with the Farmer, a caravan and a very steep hill lead them all to the Big City and it’s up to Shaun and the flock to return everyone safely to the green grass of home.

We see photos of the new, relaxed schedule at the farm, as well as changes at the animal shelter and various characters. This is followed by a video segment where the Farmer watches the news and learns about his alter-ego Mr. X.

The poor rooster with the “The End” sign is revealed, and he’s playing a video game on his cellphone. This is followed by one of the sheep coming on screen and vacuuming the floor.
