Shaun and Katy are in Wong’s library. Wong is studying a holographic image of the rings and talking with Captain Marvel and Bruce Banner, who are linked in by 3D holograms. Wong notes that the rings are far older than they thought. Captain Marvel gets beeped and she takes off, saying that Bruce has her number if they need to contact her. She disconnects, and Bruce says he doesn’t have her number, she says that all the time. They discover that the rings act as a kind of beacon, sending a message somewhere. No one knows where, and then Bruce disconnects from the meeting. Wong then tells Shaun and Katy that their lives are now changed, and they should go home and get some sleep to prepare for their next adventure. Shaun and Katy agree, saying they should go home… OR… cut to Wong, Shaun, and Katy rocking out to Hotel California at a karaoke bar.

The story follows New Yorker Rachel Chu (Constance Wu) as she accompanies her longtime boyfriend, Nick Young (Henry Golding), to his best friend’s wedding in Singapore. Excited about visiting Asia for the first time but nervous about meeting Nick’s family, Rachel is unprepared to learn that Nick has neglected to mention a few key details about his life.
