SAINT JUDY tells the true story of Los Angeles immigration attorney Judy Wood, who single-handedly changed the United States law of asylum and saved countless lives in the process.

In a landmark case, one of her first as an immigration lawyer, Judy Wood represented an Afghan woman who fled her home country after being persecuted by the Taliban for opening a school for girls. After a tenacious battle both in and out of court, Judy’s efforts culminated in arguments before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit where she fought to include women as a protected class.

Are There Any Extras During The Credits? No

Are There Any Extras After The Credits? No

Note: As the credit scroll, there are video images in the background of Immigration like the Courthouses, Law Libraries, people walking on train tracks, people waiting in line at the immigration office, the detention cells/prisons, etc. This eventually faint to only credit as a few minutes. Also, before the credits we see the real Judy Wood walking into her office while subtitles say what happened to Asefa’s case and how it changed Immigration Law. When Judy makes it to her desk, she answers the phone saying “Judy Wood, how can I help you?”
