In ancient Kahndaq, Teth Adam was bestowed the almighty powers of the gods. After using these powers for vengeance, he was imprisoned, becoming Black Adam. Nearly 5,000 years have passed and Black Adam has gone from man, to myth, to legend. Now released, his unique form of justice, born out of rage, is challenged by modern day heroes who form the Justice Society: Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Atom Smasher and Cyclone.

Black Adam is at the palace in Kahndaq and a flying drone displays a video call of Amanda Waller instructing him to remain in the city or she will send someone to deal with him. Black Adam destroys the drone with his powers and says that there’s nobody on the planet that can stop him. Then a mysterious figure flies down from the sky and walks towards Black Adam. As they come closer, we see that it is Superman. Superman says that they need to talk.
