What did you think of this film?

He’s a stuntman, and like everyone in the stunt community, he gets blown up, shot, crashed, thrown through windows and dropped from the highest of heights, all for our entertainment. And now, fresh off an almost career-ending accident, this working-class hero has to track down a missing movie star, solve a conspiracy and try to win back the love of his life while still doing his day job. What could possibly go right?

Colt Seavers (Ryan Gosling), a battle-scarred stuntman who, having left the business a year earlier to focus on both his physical and mental health, is drafted back into service when the star of a mega-budget studio movie—being directed by his ex, Jody Moreno (Emily Blunt), goes missing.

While the film’s ruthless producer (Hannah Waddingham), maneuvers to keep the disappearance of star Tom Ryder (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) a secret from the studio and the media, Colt performs the film’s most outrageous stunts while trying (with limited success) to charm his way back into Jody’s good graces. But as the mystery around the missing star deepens, Colt will find himself ensnared in a sinister, criminal plot that will push him to the edge of a fall more dangerous than any stunt.

Are There Any Extras During The Credits? Yes

during the credits
  • The first half of the credits features behind-the-scene looks at the various stunts performed during the shooting of the movie.
  • The additional scene starts with the words “Previously on the FALL GUY” typed like an entry on a movie script. We see Gail and Tom stumble out of the crashed helicopter while several police cars arrive on the scene. Gail gets to her feet and tells an approaching officer that she can make him a huge star. The officer removes his sunglasses (revealing it’s Lee Majors, the original Colt Seavers) who tells her she has the right to remain silent, so shut the hell up. The other cop is Heather Thomas (who played Jody Banks in the TV series). Meanwhile, Tom notices that the cops aren’t real; they’re wearing costumes from the props department. He pulls out his cellphone and states that he’s going to call his agent. He wanders around trying to get reception, failing to notice that he’s wandering into a pyrotechnics area where radios and cellphones are prohibited. He stops and proudly proclaims “Three bars!” and then disappears in an explosion. Lee Majors, disgusted by Tom, proclaims “Actor.” We then see Alma in the back of a police car. She pulls out her phone and asks for Jason Mamoa’s agent.
