Tree, Carter, and the lab crew are serving their punishment picking up trash on the quad when they’re picked up by a bunch of men driving in black SUVs. They’re driven back to DARPA where they find Sissy. It turns out DARPA is studying the machine but need help running it. They want to test it but now need a test subject to be trapped in a time loop. Tree has the perfect candidate. The scene ends with Danielle waking up in bed and screaming.
