What did you think of this film?

After being separated for 15 years, the Sword of Power leads Prince Adam (Nicholas Galitzine) back to Eternia where he discovers his home shattered under the fiendish rule of Skeletor (Jared Leto). To save his family and his world, Adam must join forces with his closest allies, Teela (Camila Mendes) and Duncan/Man-At-Arms (Idris Elba), and embrace his true destiny as He-Man — the most powerful man in the universe.

  • Orko appears (like at the end of the cartoons) and recaps the movie by saying “In today’s story we saw that muscles don’t necessarily make a man, and that having a skull for a face pretty much guarantees you’re the bad guy.”
  • Later, there’s a scene where the Queen and Duncan are standing and looking at the land below. The Queen says that she’d given up hope on the both of them, but Duncan says maybe one day she’ll come back, too. The Queen gives him a small smile. The scene switches to a bolt of lightning surging around a sword similar to Adam’s Sword of Power. The shot pulls back to reveal the sword being held by a woman wearing a cape and a crown. A soldier approaches and asks if she’s Force Captain Adora? She replies “No, not anymore.” Her sword is revealed and we see that she’s She-Ra, Adam’s sister.

We see Skeletor’s skull laying on the ground where he was killed. Evil-Lyn talks up, picks up the skull, looks at it and says “I must say, you’ve looked better.” She tucks the skull in her cape and walks away. As the screen goes black we hear Skeletor’s laugh.

What did you think of this film?
On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.

On the craggy shores of a fantastical ancient Japan, a boy named Kubo lives on a high cliff above the sea.
