After the Aether is back in the hands of Asgard, Sif and Volstagg bring the item to the intergalactic museum of none other than The Collector (Benicio del Toro). When The Collector asks them why they brought it to him and didn’t keep it in Asgard, they explain that the Tesseract is already on Asgard and they should not have two Infinity Stones so close together. After Sif and Volstagg leave The Collector utters the phrase “One down, five to go” (referring to the Infinity Gauntlet).

We see Jane Foster sitting at the kitchen table when Thor returns to Earth. She runs into his arms and they share a passionate kiss. We then see the Frost Giant from Jotunheim who had previously passed through an interdimensional passage during the Convergence chasing after a flock of birds. We also see the phrase “Thor will return” at the very end of the credits.
Is this stinger worth waiting around for?
